off introduction:

A basic assumption of efficiency theories such as the idea of efficient markets by Fama is that ideal human behaviour builds upon rationality. In efficient markets, prices fully reflect the value of an investment, once all information is available. Since humans are supposed to maximize their profit, they will behave rational and act risk-averse (Fama 1970).

Digitalization – particularly the code of digital language – promotes the proceeding of the process of efficiency. Some scientists assume that this process may finally lead to the dominance of artificial intelligence.

Today, our life already seems to be dominated by efficiency clusters – either in business like flash trading at the stock exchange or physical fitness in private life. Still, some people may believe that strict trust in efficiency will change our society into a system that eliminates the human factor. In this conception, the human being with a unique complexity of ratio, emotion and creativity is substituted by algorithms and artificial intelligence and its specific use of digital devices; especially the plain tone of digital language does not leave much space for literary nuances.
